Paul Jelbert is an expert wood turner born bred and still lives in deepest West Cornwall.

All the turned pieces he creates are individual and unique.

Paul makes the following

The Cornwall Association of Wood Turners

Cornwall Association of Wood TurnersThe Cornwall Association of Wood Turners meets at Wheal Jane Mine near Truro on the last Friday of every month and has a clubhouse that members can use all the time.

The Poldark Association of Wood Turners

The Cornish based Poldark Association of Wood Turners meets on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month at Poldark Mine. Poldark Mine is a genuine Cornish mine that visitors to Cornwall can go down in the regular mine tours.

However Poldark Mine also has many other attractions including several shops selling various local crafts and providing information about the area, which is part of a World Heritage Site. You are very welcome to visit the mine to look at or buy wood turned and other craft items on sale there.

Those who live locally can come and try your hand at Wood Turning under the expert guidance of Paul and the other members at the regular meeting of the Poldark Wood Turners on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month. Beginners are very welcome.
